I have bought a 92 Adria optima. I love it but I'm clueless. I have it sited and hooked up to mains but last week the lights got dimmer and then went off the sockets work but the lights wont go on! Can any one tell me what im doing wrong!
I would imagine the lights are 12volt and your battery is rapidly going flat! But the sockets are mains voltage so still work, you need to check if the battery charger is switched on and is working.
On a 22yr old caravan the electrics could have had any sort of bodge. If electrics are complete & you have a transformer/charger connected to battery then possibly this has failed & battery has gone flat so you need to test to see if battery is being charged. It could be just a disconnected wire though.
But if you have no idea & cannot even do basic fault finding then nobody can really help you from a forum, you need to get it looked at.
