Trying to buy a good 2nd-hand hitchlock for my AKS2004 and I'm confusicated because one I've seen has a red ball and another a blue ball. I've asked the blue-ball-man to explain why it hasn't got the conventional (?) red ball but he's just as thick as me!!
Any ideas? Can't afford to buy one that doesn't fit
The plastic ball is only a deterrent which is 50mm. diameter to stop anyone hitching the caravan up even though a hitch lock is in place so as far as I'm aware there's no difference. I must admit though I've never seen a blue ball so a red one probably applies to a genuine Alko brand and a blue one provided with an alternative brand of hitch lock.
