This is on an 1993 Avondale Perle and it looks like it has an internal screwthread .. There is a name on the cover but its unreadable but someone may recognize the motif.

I have looked at a number of whale pumps but they all have shrouded electric pins this looks like they must be exposed like a 2 pin plug

I've come across "non standard" pumps on Avondales in the past. It may be worth looking at the owners club to see if there is any more information there.
