So much to remember. So much I'm likely to forget.
Having changed from a folding camper that I had to empty before selling it, then getting a caravan which I immediately had to winterise, I am now setting it up for our first trip away in it.
Between having the handbook in one hand and trying to remember how I winterised it 5 months ago, but now reversing that procedure, this is a nightmare.
I've checked that everything is working okay, but since buying it we have had a new motor mover fitted and a larger battery, so the noseweight has changed dramatically and now, for this trip, the spare wheel will have to travel inside the van. I will get and underslung carrier at a later date.
This first trip (4 nights) is just a shake-down camp, but even at that, I just know that we will forget a dozen "important" items.
Make yourself a list and take it with you so you can keep updating it as you think of things.
As long as you have the basics like heat / water / electric then nothing else should cause any major problem. As long as you are not far from home or far from a shop then you should be OK.
Och aye, we will make a list once it is all packed and then take a notebook to list everything that we have forgot.
Better make it a big notebook!
We will, eventually, have a list for every locker. I find it easier to check things that way, but it being a new to us van, we are still working out what will go where.
We will be just 50 miles from home, so no great distance if we have forgotten anything important.
Will be watching with interest to see what things you might forget/problems you might come across ready for our first trip soon. Good luck!

I spent the afternoon sorting out the directional aerial and the bits to clip it onto the jockey wheel.
Haven't used these brackets for years because the jockey wheel on the folding camper was hidden.
60 feet of workshop and brackets stowed away in boxes, does not make for an easy afternoon's hunting!
Anyways, found them eventually so if the status aerial doesn't work, at least I have a back up. Madam cannot miss her Corry.
All that is left to pack is my sandals and her 5 kitchen sinks worth of clothes!
