No, not a mechanic with insurance, and neither will the OP be!

She's asking about a wrench to check wheel nuts a few times a year. As long as she buys a decent 2nd hand one and has it checked for accuracy by one of the well-known diy methods, or even a new one, and screws it back to zero after each use, why would she want a calibration certificate?

Brilliant one on Screwfix at £24.99, TUV certified.

BTW, I've never had a wheel come of any vehicle in 40 years.

So when I am driving down to London, I have to torque my wheels before I set off then again at Keele services (52 miles) then again at M6 M42 junction (49 miles) then again between Northampton and Milton Keynes 9%0 miles), then again at M1/M25 junction (48 miles). I think not

I think that means after first 50 miles of driving (new vehicle) and 50 miles after wheel nuts have been re-tightened, e.g. for tyre change.

I do hope that this post is a tongue in cheek response, If by chance that it isn't, I suggest that you do not have the necessary mechanical understanding to under take
this kind of maintenance.

Retorque the wheel nuts after 50 miles if they have been removed for any reason .Then mark them with tippex or something like, then you can visually check if any have come loose
