What LED's did you use?
Where did you get them from?
It varies you have to look at the original and then you find the LED equivalent. I got mine off ebay a company called lowenergybulb-uk the bulbs are not cheap mind you but they last for years and don't get hot and use up power good on non ehu. I used G4 Leds and downlighter type were MR11 LEDS all were day white bulbs all in all very pleased
this is the only pic I have, but these are my second set of led's in the front, as the first set I got were bright white and it looked like a public toilet!
I changed the strip light behind the lens in vanity unit which was a pain in the butt some times came on sometimes not despite fitting new tubes. Put in strip led instead refitted lens apart from being much brighter looks no different now and it works every time without needing all printed circuit board gubbins of the old light. ps. its off to normans bay ccc site for us whit bank holiday week. Hope kids don't fall into compost tip like they did last time there a few yrs back. Smelt like a farm yard.
leds are good, low consumption,no heat, last ages.Im thinking of fitting these,we have 5 down lights with halogen lamps they will be first.Next door neighbour got a good deal on his service with these.wished i had, will cost me more now to do it myself.Anyway, them pics look great, they are good
I put warm white in the front and replaced the strip lights in the work areas with warm white strips, they just create a nicer ambience, but without being dull. Also the led strips are movable so you can direct the light straight down, or into the caravan, at whatever angle suits.
I have replaced all my fluorescent tube lights in my Swift Corvette 1990 with very cheap LED strips I bought from China using Ebay. The way I did it leaves all the original fittings and tubes in place. The light off the LEDs is good, as good as the original lights.
I have left two spotlights at the front using 12v 5 watt normal bulbs for those extra warmth moments.
Takes a lot of load off the battery.
