Hello all, I have a Reich motor mover fitted on my van. I have no problem reversing the van or turning it around with the mover but it judders the van and seems to work intermittently when trying to move the van forward. Any ideas on why this could be happening please. Thank you Sue

Rollers slipping. Tyres old and hard? Tyre pressures? Brakes free?

Check the gaps between rollers and tyres.

if it moves ok in reverse direction, could it be that the handbrake is not fully off or tow hitch not fully forward. auto reverse mechanism in the brake drum will allow reverse movement if brakes on but not allow forward movement. Just a thought to try first as I have on occasions forgotten to release handbrake once I,ve moved mover rollers on to tyres.

Hi Sue, are the rollers steel?, then fine.If black or grey rough plastic like covering, this could be breaking up.
