Hello everyone, first post and all that.
Purchased a Vango Varkala 280 for our Swift Charisma, the Varkala states 236/250 awning rail height, the Charisma when measuring is 243 so it's within the range.
Pitched the Awning outside on the drive and on the van, it's a tarmac drive.
Problem is that on the varkala there is a 'mudflap' part which folds in..but where the base of the Varkala meets the mudflap (seam) it doesn't sit neat\flush on the floor, in fact the seam of the Varkala and which I am assuming is the base of the awning is about 4inches above the groound with the first four inches of the mudflap taking up the rest of the 4inches and then whats left is folding in ok.
Any ideas if I'm doing something wrong? I've lowered the stays but of course this didn't make any difference. Not sure what I'm doing is right or even wrong?
Any advice would be welcome.
Thankyou!
