Hi all, don't know if anyone is travelling this route. Road repairs were beingdone on this stretch of road, and yesterday, the road started to collapse. Diversions and massive tailbacks!!!!!

oh dear thats one busy section of road ,the main link from north to mid wales .looks like its going to be a quick job though

It was still shut at 1700 this evening. Anyone coming south was being diverted at the roundabout at the end of the Welshpool by-pass onto the road towards Churchstoke.

Do NOT attempt to pass the road block with a caravan as the only practical route after that is not suitable for a caravan.
