Go outdoors main chairs are very comfy and fairly cheap. They don't last forever but good overall value, easy to fold/unfold, lightweight and really comfy
I'm waiting to buy the Isabella chairs and footrest but the footrests aren't in the country until next month, so I will have to make do with my old chair next week.
The trouble with the fold up chairs they are a bit low to use at a table to eat dinner.
We couldn't choose between the Isabella Comfort and the Isabella Camping Chair - both were very comfortable. We bought one of each in the end.
We had tried lots of the collapsible camping chairs & some seemed comfortable for the first five minutes, but lacked any real support.
Incidentally, I was surprised to note that the Isabella chairs aren't really any heavier than many of the collapsible types - but they do certainly take up a lot more room when folded.
We have just recently bought a couple of Vango Krackens chairs and really love them. They are easy to fold, very strong and sturdy, with solid arm rests to hold onto if you find getting out of a normal umbrella type folding chair difficult. They will also take a weight upto 180kg, not that l weigh that much lol, but my OH feels much safer in them when the grandkids want to climb up onto his knee, especially the 7yr old who is quite a big girl.
We have tried various others in the past, including the Kampa Extravagence chairs, but they were too big and bulky to store away anywhere inside the caravan base lockers, so ended up as patio chairs at home. We also tried a couple of the Duckdalf (sp?) Chairs with the separate foot rests, but found that the seat edging dug into the backs of our legs if we sat in them for an hour or more, and the foot rests had a mind of their own regards collapsing if you tried to move them with your foot. With the new Krackens chairs, l simply rest my feet on a small sturdy low camping table which l have made a nice memory foam cushion to fit it and covered the lot bar the legs with an easily washable cover.
Its real comfortable bliss, and strong enough for the grandkids to sit on as a low stool if needs be, and the whole lot only cost me around £15 to make, including the piece of memory foam off cut, a real bargain.
