made the trip home today from Cornwall using the A30,and M5 saw one car and caravan jack knife when going downhill to fast and ended up wrapped round the central barrier, also a set of bikes fall of the back window carrier of a car and another car wandering from lane to lane (on the phone).
Another driver with no hands on the steering wheel tying her her hair in a bun.
The M5 was slightly better, just a few caravans towing at 70.
We're just back from Cornwall as well via A30/303/m3/25/26/20. All in all pretty good run with no severe holdups and even the drivers on the M25 seemed to be behaving. One accident on the A30, a crewcab 4x4 pickie parked in lane 1 of a dual carriageway on it's roof tho strangely its twin axle trailer was still on it's wheels although the load was on the hard shoulder. There was a rather despondent looking guy sitting on the grass bank contemplating his upside down pickie.....Mick
