One of my brake lights and now one of my indicators has gone on my Elddis hurricane. Are all caravan bulbs standard or do I need to take them out and see what size, etc they are? I see Maypole do a spare bulb kit which looks good but not sure if they'd be suitable.
The simple solution is to remove each bulb and note down whether it's a double or single filament and the wattage rating then go and buy the spare bulbs accordingly till you have a full kit. The indicator bulbs may possibly be Orange depending on the year of caravan and the locating pins will be offset so it's impossible to cheat and interchange with a clear one.
The indicator, brake and side light bulbs on the caravan are standard bulbs that you buy for a car so are available at any motor factors such as Halfords or Motorworld etc.
Usually just standard single pole car bulbs. 5w for sidelight & 21w for brake light & indicator. Buy from Halfords etc. If you have modern rear light unit with clear indicator lense then bulb will be 21w amber.
