just brought a new to us Baley Pagent Majestic van, all VERY nice however been going through everything to make sure all is working and yes all is working but does ant one know how to increase the water pressure to the shower head. Thanks

You can't as the pressure remains the same throughout the caravan water system which functions via one pressure switch. As the shower is the highest point it will be less powerful than that of the wash basin or kitchen sink but what I did was to buy a water pump with a faster water rate delivery. If you read the info on the side of the water pump it should tell you what the delivery rate is so you can search for a higher rated water pump.
HI, If you have a submersible pump bet its been changed for one that is not delivering enough water. ie, in whale pumps. a GP1002 gives 10 ltrs a min, a GP1352 13 ltrs a min and GP 1652 16 ltrs min which is best for showering
If the pressure is low, then change of pump is perhaps the only option. As said, the pressure is usually controlled by the pressure switch itself (if a pressure system used by the van of course); however a pump with a faster flow rate will help you, albeit you'll obviously experience quicker use of water too.
Not sure whether this van has an on-board water tank too, so can't comment on Bibbster's suggestion.
The other thing to note is the shower spout too. You don't say which type of shower head is used; specific shower or dual purpose mixer tap with detachable head; but if the latter type with detachable spout, there is usually an option to change the spray pattern from the tap spout to suit what you're using it for.
When drawn out and used for shower, you usually pull the end spout down slightly to select a wider spray pattern. When used as the standard tap, click the spout back into place to provide a more direct flow. This can impact the "perceived" pressure during shower use.
Hi, forgot to mention it possible to fit an inline pump into pipe work after water has entered caravan, connecting wiring with existing pump feed. this may be cheapest option and does increase the pressure.

Theres every chance someone has replaced the original for a 'home' head. Has your head got a hole in the handle about 5mm across? That said, i dont think you will every replicate the pressure in your home shower (if thats the aim?) - which can sometimes knock you off your feet.

I swapped my Truma for a Whale, (doesnt everybody in the end?) but it has no output info on it apart from 'High Flow'. Im happy with how it operates, but how would i find out what size it actually is?
Maybe just fit a high volume whale pump first, see if that helps . It has the original shower head , it's a Swift Challenger which doesn't have any pressure switch fitted so only reliant on the inlet pump. It also has to go all the way round the caravan to reach the kitchen taps , so is quite weak by then.

Cheers for that. It appears mines a 16L/min (EP 1612), and the shower is pretty damn good. That said, the van is only 2 berth, so maybe not travelling the same distance as OP's?

If you are referring to the Ecocamel IMHO they are useless as you need twice as much water when washing your hair. We have tow of them lying around in our garage somewhere preferring the standard shower head.

Do the other taps work OK?
Ours did but the pressure and flow to the shower was awful.
Turned out the shower feed pipes came up from the floor then doubled back down to the top of the shower mixer and they were both slightly kinked.
removed mixer and mounting panel and with a bit of fiddling (and cut hands) managed to pull pipes through and remove kinks.
Great shower now.
Might be worth a look.
