We have a swift 1994 caravan and it has no oven but a space for an oven and what looks like a fitting for one. We have won an oven on e-bay a Maxol Monte Carlo 2000 in good working order however someone has told us that it should have a thermal insulation jacket on it but it does not. I have searched the internet and cannot find anywhere that sells these. Does anyone know if it has to have one of these and if so where we can get one from. Thank you

I would try phoning your local caravan sales place. I've never seen one out of its box/space, so wasn't aware that they have them? Are you sure that the insulation isn't built in? It is on my gas oven in the kitchen.

Ok thanks I am not sure it is a sealed unit so perhaps the insulation is inside it's just that someone had said to my husband make sure it has this jacket thing on but to me it just looks like a metal box.
