Bit puzzled never had one before. Have worked out that skirt goes along van, the short bit attaches via rail that shaped like number 8 onto skirt to cover wheel but how do you attach that bit to van at the top of it has press studs but no studs on van to clip to and I don't want to drill holes to put studs into. Am I being a bit thick here and missing something obvious?

Screwing anything through the caravan wall is a bad idea as you suspected. I use 3 x little round Velcro pads on mine and it does the same job very well.

You can use studs but seal them if you do.Some people just use velcro instead.

we used some sucker type with a stud fitting, worked OK as side wall was smooth. Not sure where you can get them, but These may do. We never bother putting it on now.

That's fab like the Velcro idea and rubber sucker pads, as neither should cause damage. Thanks

Adria provide a Ply wood wheel cover that clips to wheel arch with piece of awing rail fitted to fit wheel cover,            My Geist van had extra piece awing rail fitted above wheel arch to take plastic wheel cover both sides of van.

UV light causes tyre side walls to crack and blow  even when the tread is like brandnew thats why you should renew tyres every 4/5 years regardless of tread condition.

They may do with an Adora but not as standard with an Altea as far as I know. It does look a neat solution but they are expensive to buy on their own sadly
