To say the least, can't wait till next weekend for first trip.we will spend the next few days sorting all the bits out and loading, not sure if I will need to run the Purisan through the water system or is it part of the PDI,anybody know?
If it was me I would get some PuriClean and do it myself.
Better safe than sorry as you don't know how long the van has been left with water in the pipes.
That's what I thought, even though it's new you would think the would have tested for leaks at the factory so some water may have been left in the system for some time.
There was water in ours. On handover the staff checked the water system was functioning correctly. If its a new bailey, it has only just come out of the factory, and will have probably not stood for more than a couple of weeks.
All we did with ours was run a few sink fulls of water through it. After all the water we drink is already chlorinated to kill germs.
We'll all is good, picked up new van on Monday evening from Robinsons caravans in Chesterfield, would just like to say a big thank you to Brian in sales and Les how did the hand over.got the van home to get prepared for this weekends trip and have a good look around, few minor issues ,one radio speaker isn't working and a butterfly missing on one of the heater vents, don't know if it should have one it may be that it's so you can't shut all the vents down with the heating working.all in all it seems that on the whole vans ok.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
