Anyone got any views on caravan covers? I can see the benefits of them, to obviously protect from the harsh elements, but I suspect abit of a faff to get on and off. Also our caravan is a new one with a solar panel, so guessing it probably wouldn't be ideal to cover it.
I'm interested to hear your thoughts on this.

Ours was good, made by protec here in the uk, it wasn't cheap but kept the green off it over the winter, in fact when we took it off it was like the day we covered it up. Open the windows slightly if you get one, as ours got damp with no sunlight shining in.

Caused condensation in our van. Now only use in the autumn to keep leaves off the roof. Wouldn't bother otherwise. Hassle to put on!

i think probably comes down to how much "crap" the van will get on it.. mine is parked under trees in my garden so a cover benefits me.. parked in the open maybe not..

there are definitely mixed feelings about them..

Try looking at the ones that covers just the roof,less hassle and lets the van breathe

i think i will get a roof or top half only one.. as you say less hassle and the van can breath better..
