Make sure the blade is closed, if open that would cause it to jam.

Yes blade is closed but will still not pull out never happened before just been to make sure local caravan dealer has spare parts because it looks like we will have to force it which looks like it could break something.

There are only two things that it could possibly be and that is that the blade is not fully closed so double check again as the lever has to to be pushed hard all the way as far as it can go. If it doesn't then check to see if there is any restrictions such as jammed toilet paper stopping it from closing. The other is if you are not lifting the release handle (directly at the base and front) high enough to lift out the cassette. This happened to me once thinking something had jammed but it was just down to something simple.

If the van has been standing for a while put a small amount of water in the bowl, open and close the blade.
could be the rubber seal has gone dry and got stuck.
Are you holding down the plastic locking strip under the waste tank ???

Try a touch of olive oil on rubber seal. It worked for us once.

some warm soapy water might help.. i would guess at a stuck seal..

Thank you for suggestions it looks like it was something to do with it not aligning up would you believe long screw driver moved it back in its slot toilet is used daily and seal had been checked at service which confused us been caravan owners a long time never had this happen before once again thank you all.

Yes, glad it's sorted, well done Mandy  

Just have a look that the opening slot on top of the cassette is parallel to the box sides, perhaps the whole assembly has turned round a bit and is slightly out of alighnment.
