Hi all, urgent help required. First time out with this fridge and after 10 days running on mains it's stopped working. First noticed a plasticky burning smell from the external vent and then discovered that the fridge had stopped working. Tried on gas, same smell and not cooling. Other than it's bust, any thoughts on getting it working before I go out and buy a small table top replacement. Cheers. Camping equipment, hope it's not a problem.
The smell you describe sounds like overheating wires and melting of the wires insulation, some people describe the small as fish like,
you could start by removing the external fridge vents to see if you can see anything
