Hi. One of my thumbscrews for my rock steady mirrors broke does anyone know where I can get spares from mine are the Pyramid rock steady ones.Thanks in advance
Pyramid spares seem to be difficult to get hold of probably because they don't make spares for any of their products. I tried to get a sealing cap for my Pyramid 'Water Porter' water barrel and couldn't get one anywhere at all. One outlet said "That's why most people opt for Hitchman products such as the Aquaroll and Wastemaster as the spares are dead easy to obtain and even we can't get hold of Pyramid spares that's why we stock very little of their products".
I believe the company went into administration a few years ago but was taken over by another company but it's no wonder if they had a throw away policy in the outdoor leisure world.
I had dealings with them and wasn't impressed by their after sales service, I wasn't surprised to hear that they went into administration shortly afterwards. Shame really as they had some good pieces of kit.

Hi do you mean the plastic bolt, if so go to local hardware store buy a metal bolt and a rubber blanking plug to glue on the end. screw bolt through the clamp glue on rubber a glue gun is ideal if you have one. then bind insulating tape around bolt head to make a comfy finger grip. this should get you by.
If you have no success in getting what you need I advise to buy a pair of 'Milenco' Grand Aero mirrors as they are very popular amongst caravanners on this forum and they would probably be able to supply any spares as well.

iam just about to order my 3rd set in 6 months and still under warranty . the thumb screws are c..p which is apity because the mirrors are excellent although i dislike the convex one.
