Hi all!

Does anyone know how I might remove a white stain I have on the front windowsill wood veneer? The stain was caused by either white spirt, methylated spirit or acetone :-S

A bit of closely matched wax maybe? Oil? Cigarette ash and mayonnaise?

We use ash and olive oil in a paste. Doesn't need to be cigarette ash. Use a soft cloth to rub in in a circular motion then polish back up.

Sounds unlikely but it works.

I use a tea towel and clothes iron to remove white heat rings on furniture, never tried it on other stains but worth a try I would have thought. You tube has videos showing you how.
