Does anyone know where the cheapest propane gas in the stourbridge area.

I use tenthire in Walsall. But maybe too far from you. Add the fuel costs and its usually not worth travelling more than a couple of miles.

I pay £13.04 for 8.6kg/15ltrs of propane and it can be bought cheaper!

If you use a lot of gas, get a Safefill refillable cylinder and fill it with auto gas at your local garage. They are safe and stop filling at 80% full with other safety features as well.

Noooooow that is cheap I have just paid £19.55 for 6kg yet a 13kg is only £22.50.

problem is they have you by the short and curlies they know you want the gas

Is this a size thing? I don't have mains gas but use propane Calor for cooking - £47.72 plus for the enormous upright cylinder?

57p per litre for me, that is £8.55 to fill my safefil. Perry Barr, Birmingham.

Yes, the larger the cylinder, the cheaper the gas per kg, or so it seems.

I think it costs Calor, Flogas etc little more to fill a large cylinder than a small one - both have to go through the same checks before refilling.
