Can anyone recommend some caravan friendly services on the A55? We are travelling to Anglesey on Saturday so the stretch of road before Bangor and the turn off to the Britannia Bridge. Might not be needed if we make a motorway stop but I like to be prepared and OH doesn't like me using the van loo en route! Thank you.

couple of miles past queensferry there is a Mcdonalds and OK diner + garage,caravan parking above Mcdonalds car park(dont enter mcdonalds car park, very tight),use this every time we go to anglesey
As well as the two above on the A55 there is a stop at Caerwys by McDonalds but it's a bit tight then between Bodelwyddan and Abergele there are services with ample parking, also at Llandulas there is a Shell service station immediately off the A55 and again just by Llandudno another Shell station although this ones a bit small, after that the next one is just before Bangor again you have to leave the A55 but parking at this one is good as well.
We have just come back from North Wales and really struggled with Services. I wish I'd asked your question before we went.
I think you would be better using the services between Bodelwyddan and Abergele, we stopped at the services just after Queensferry and ended up having to pull into a layby near the petrol station area. It was a bit of a nightmare to be honest.
Thanks Monks, I've made a note. Probably won't need a second stop ( we usually pull in before we leave the motorway) but you know what it's like, if you know you can't have a pee stop, then you can guarantee you want one!

Chester services on the M56 have a caravan section, haven`t tried it as we have always had a trailer and manage to find a drive-through bit in the main car park. We managed to get behind a motorhome at M`c D`s on the A55 near Northop Hall so if its not busy you might be ok
