Any ideas from fellow campers what's causing this?

It's not the awning or carpet as this is the 3rd stop on out trip around France but at this site our awning area stinks musty. There is no mould or mildew on anything, is it coming from the ground? We wondered if the previous people had dumped their grey waste on the pitch ...

If theres no mould on the carpet or awning, I too would suspect its the ground.

its probably the ground but i doubt its anything to do with "grey waste"..
