Here I am again with my Rapido,have bought some sikaflex and a gun thingy to seal a window-----don't laugh--- i don't know where to put it,do i completely seal up the outside? or put it between the rubber and window inside?,there is a bit of water on the rubber ledge inside
surely the water is coming from the outside, sealing from the inside is only hiding the leak. What damage is the water doing to the wooden frame and panels? Surely the seal needs removing, mastic cleaned off, new applied and seal refitted. I've never done this, but reading other posts that is what other have done.

If resealling is necessary then madasaman is correct, the seal needs removing and bedding on sealant that is at least all along the outerside edge.
However if I read the OP correctly water is on the the rubber ledge which indicates water is getting past the seal and window "glass". That indicates one or two things need checking:
Is the seal past its sell by date and now too hard and stiff to seal? Here rubber lubricants/conditioning products or even silicone liquid, will help a bit.
Is there a build up of dirt grunge etc. that needs cleaning off?
Is the catch position now not pinching the rubber enough; sign of aging seal, but you might be able to increase the pinch by resetting the catch plate.
Check with a person training a hosepipe on the area, someone on the inside to see where its coming in.
Sikaflex is good stuff, but you need to do the above to see where to put it. I once had a similar leak, it turned out to be that just a bit of the rubber seal had become unsealed on the outside edge. So I just sealed that part, waited 24 hours, then did the hose thing again to check I had got the right bit. It really can be that simple.
It didn't leak at all during hurricaine Bertha has been through some dreadful storms dry,not condensation deffo,i'm a single woman of 50 and wouldnt know where to start taking a window out

Well there's a result! You only had to threaten it with sikaflex and a gun and it didn't dare leak!!
Single woman aged 56 here. Taken out a window and replaced it, also replaced window knob thingys, repainted the inside walls and covered the seating, put up two folding work surfaces, sorted out the gas cooker rings (needed new cardboard ring thingys underneath the burners), changed the jockey wheel no less than three times, checked the brakes, learned how to use a grease gun and greased the nipples, and I could go on...
Anything I'm not sure about, just ask on here how it's done, or do a search. The people on here rock!
The only things I have to call out the cavalry for are electric and gas checks, and a chassis check. I leave that stuff to the experts!
