Need some help new to caravaning we have a elldis 2002 525 with end washroom everything is working as it should only the shower does not. Looked up some problems as the shower works if another tap is on pointing to a microswitch problem so I have removed and tested and all seem ok . Am I right in saying I should get 12 volts if I put a multimeter on the brown and blue wires if so I do not also if I connect wires together I should hear pump start which I do not . I think I have a electrical problem anybody come across the same issues any help would be gratefully received .
I have a Electrolux fridge trying to get it to work on gas it will light thro viewing window only goes out as soon as button is turned any help much appreciated .
Coming back to the shower problem, you would not get 12 volts across the two wires off the microswitch. You would have to connect one wire of the meter to battery negative, then check with the other meter probe on each of the wires from the taps in turn. One of them should be live at 12 volts. It sounds like you have a broken connection somewhere. If there is no voltage on either of the tap wires, the break is between the tap and the supply. If there is 12 volts, check the connection to any other taps.
Regarding the gas fridge, it sounds like you have a problem with the thermocouple. This is a probe in the pilot flame, which acts as a flame failure device.
Hi, try lighting fridge with the plastic knob pulled off then push in the spindle and hold in. if that solves the problem the knob is touching facia so pack it out with foil and refit knob.
