Hi all

This is a question for anyone like ourselves who aren't lucky enough to be able too bring the Caravan home for cleaning ...

How do you manage to keep it clean

I'm certain that there isn't any cleaning facilities where we are stored as it is only a little storage area.

We did consider cleaning it on the last camp site we stayed on but judging by a few of the looks I got whilst trying to get some grass off the side of the van which had become stuck that's not the done thing ??

Maybe a chain of Caravan cleaning areas is an investment for someone ??

Many Thanks

Don't blame me for the poor grammar......

It's my predictive text that's out of control !!!

I take 2 big buckets with lids on. One to wash and one to rinse and also an extendable brush. There is a cleaning bay in our storage but I have never used it.

I take a 10 litre water container down to storage, heat some water on the hob, wash the van and then rinse off with cold. We've also been able to clean it at most of the sites we have travelled to especially during the winter when you get excessive road dirt thrown up.

I use 2 x 10 litre sprayers. Add Fenwicks cleaner to one, wet an area and clean using brush/sponge and then rinse with the second sprayer. Similar to the demo clip on Fenwicks web page.
Plenty for a 12 ft caravan.

I have asked site owners if okay to clean van on site stating it would look a lot nicer once cleaned and polished, I have only been refused once and that was a warden not owner who thought he was Hitler.                            My friends, relations have never been back to that site great reception good facilities pity about the 10 amp EHU some shared,         and the Gestapo warden.       You could not reset EHU at box but had to ask warden to reset pitch No in brick hut with locked door after 5-oclock he told you comeback at 7-30 next morning.            The vistors book always read ;=       lovely site lovely setting nice  pitches great reception welcome. BUT PITY ABOUT SITE WARDEN AND EHU WOULD WE COME AGAIN NO NEVER IF THE LAST TWO COMMENTS REMAIN.
