Hi everyone I am in need of some help. I am looking to buy a 4 berth caravan but my drive is just over 20 foot long. Does anyone know where or if I can get a list of caravans that lists the shipping lengths to save me trawling the internet looking at sizes.
I've never seen a list like that. To give you some idea our Ranger 460/4 has a shipping length of 6.25m which is about 20'6". Caravan Finder has a filter which selects vans by body length so something around 14'6" (4.4m) should have a shipping length around 20'.
If your looking at new vans then you can check the latest specs. But for older vans its more of an issue.
You may make a shortlist of 20 caravans under the max length and never see one for sale.
Unlike mass produces cars you need to see whats for sale today.
Its either a case of see what sellers actually list the figures and lots of homework on ones that dont.
Ive asked lots of sellers about their caravans for sale and many dont even know what it weighs.
