Hi we have a bailey senator and cannot plug anything in the socket on outside of the van tried putting earth prong in but bottom of plug wont go in are we missing something or is the socket knackered xx
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
I found that if the plug you are using as a extra piece of insulation on it, it makes it harder to insert the plug in, with a more flexible cable it seemed a lot better malc1945
Thanks malc tried that cant get into socket wires are too short so cant change it and theres a box on the back looks like its back to glossop caravans for us :( x
Hi maggie, As with most mains sockets there is a gate that covers the live & neutral socket holes to prevent kids poking things in, the longer earth pin on the plug moves it out of the way so that the rest of the pins can fit into the socket. It may be that with it being outside a bit of grit or similar is fouling this and preventing the plug going in. With all the power disconnected to the van try a flat blade screwdriver in the top earth socket and see if it opens.
