Hello

I have recently purchased a van with a alko 2000 2500 2700 hitch.

I bought a alko typ2 lock off ebay but it appears to need some kind of bracket to be able to fit the lock on where can i get them from

Many thanks in advance.

It's either an Alko 1300, 2000 or 3004 model but you shouldn't need any bracket for a hitch lock to fit. If you can show a link with the model stabiliser hitch you have then this would help.

The one shown is the same as mine which is an Alko AKS 2000 model and the hitch lock for this model is different to that for the 1300 and 3004 models due to the red stabiliser handle being offset. Mine is made by Pyramid and cost £30 new which just swivels open at one corner without any further brackets required which is shown in the link below.

I doubt whether you will get the fitting kit on it's own as they are normally sold only as a complete security locking device.

Fitting kit is available separately for Alko lock. I bought one just for the bolts which are special and not easily obtained from a fastener company.

They are available on the bay or just googled and brought up this company with them listed.
