a dealer has to take in older vans as part of a trade in deal.. he just wants to get rid of them which is what cheap trade type deals are all about..

the other option would be to refuse the trade in unless the van was in good condition.. or allow for all repairs and offer the seller next to nothing..

one way of getting rid of them is via ebay.. the price will not be much more than a private seller would want..

Just enjoy the van and your holidays.Im always looking for something to fix or upgrade.It comes naturally.No matter what age van you have there is always a job to be done,keeps me happy.As i dont go abroad i have mine serviced every 2 years.But on sites in europe you have to have a service sticker (valid) or you wont get on.
