We made the mistake last year of selling our 2 berth caravan mainly because of the hassle of putting up the awning to put youngest child in an annexe as well as the cost of storage when we seemed to prefer ready erected tents in France. So we got a tt which we've only used once this year as hubby isn't too keen. So once we came back from France at the beginning of September we started considering getting a van again. Been scouring all the usual places as you do and we viewed one in Leeds and one in Grimsby and both had damp and floor delamination amongst other faults we found, amazingly both the owners were unaware of this (surprise surprise). So walked away and kept looking. Today we were supposed to be going to Donington for the Grand Prix exhibit but I was kept busy finishing off hubby's Lego birthday cake (I know, he's reliving his childhood). Anyway spotted one that looked just the ticket and messaged the seller who provided further info as well as explaining that they were on holiday from tomorrow for a week (so hubby pipes up, can we go see it tonight). At the same time the owner said that he was knocking £250 off the price, they'd owned it for 8 years and used it as a spare bedroom once or twice a month in the time they'd owned it. Anyway cut a long story short, we've left a deposit and will be picking it up when they get back. I can't wait to get back vanning again, have so missed reversing a big caravan as reversing a diddy tt or trailer is not my idea of fun
