I'm having problems with my shower.

If I switch it on, the pump runs and the water flows but then slows to nothing as if a vacuum is being created

To stop this from happening I open the sink tap in the bathroom. I don't need to open enough to flick the pump just slight crack (as I first though the sink may flick the pump which created water pressure to open shower head).
I have recently replaced the sink tap, that we found on our first trip after buying the van, had a crack in and so now sealed...

Any ideas

we need to know if your van has micro switches on the taps , or a pressure switch system.

if each tap has a micro switch then the one on the shower is at fault .By opening the sink tap your causing the pump to work via the sink tap.If you have a pressure switch the this may need adjustment

The kitchen is a lift up and does click. The bathroom is turners, like home taps.
Where would I find a pressure switch?

Check underneath the taps and see if you have wiring going to them.

Wiring to the taps = microswitches.

No wiring = a pressurised system.

I think theres an air lock some where.I would drain the full system and start opening the taps one by one.
