Hi Camcroft, we are away in our Freedom at the moment. We go home tomorrow. Had 2 days of very heavy rain, but hasn't spoilt our time away.
we only get every 3rd weekend off work, but will carry on going away, as long as the weather lets us.

The weather is on the change at the moment and the next time that we could have gone away the clocks would have gone back that weekend.We have never done winter camping and we could only go on a Saturday for one night and don't know if it is really worth it. Might try it sometime when we both have a few days off. Anyway we can watch tv at home anytime we don't need to go away to watch it

We are out at the moment, in Dorset. We have had a a good range of weather! Seems to have settled a bit. Going to Cornwall on Saturday for a while unless weather goes really awful!

We're off for a few days next weekend to visit our daughter at Uni. Hoping it doesn't rain too much, staying at Teeside Water Park. Will be packing away until February half term. I'm stuck with school hols due to work sadly and retirement keeps getting further away thanks to HMG.....
We are off again on Sunday, to Stourton Hill Farm CL. 10th time away this year, also away at Christmas and in between, weather permitting. Also just had a fortnight in Spain, in an apartment. We are lucky to have been able to save when interest rates were high, and also have good pensions.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
