it probably is,you cant get car cover for that.double check size of van,it might be upto max 17ft or whatever.And read all small print,i thought i was covered with rac but still cost me £500 to get home when my car got poorly on the moors coming from whitby.And the was a third party,the rac who i had been a member of for years wanted £600
Who do they actually use for the breakdown & recovery? It will most likely be the private contractor who has put in lowest price. So one user's excellent service will be another user's disaster. Some breakdown cover like Saga for example contract out to AA so you know you should get a fairly good service wherever you are.
As long as you have read the small print you should at least get some sort of service for your money. It might be good idea to speak to them on the phone & find out exactly how their system works.
