Thanks and yes you are all right, we are already planning escape number 2!! Also came home from work to find Hubby in the caravan with a cup of tea having spent some time doing jobs like polishing the door handles! Lol
We've had our caravan since March after tenting for many years. It's amazing how much being able to go to the toilet without having to go outside can make you smile!
We have had our van since March too and although for many years we loved camping we love caravaning more!! If you have an awning you have the best of both worlds. Love the comfort of the van , the heating and the toilet but love to sit in the awning to read and relax.

We have been caravanning now for over 6 years. Before that we had a folding camper which I loved and always said I didn't want a caravan. We had planned a trip to Austria and I was finding the lifting of the cooker etc in the folding camper a bit of a strain and my husband was going to have a hip operation after our visit to Austria. We decided to buy a secondhand caravan and try it out. We loved it and wondered why we didn't change sooner too. We have just traded in that caravan Bailey Imperial (2000) for a Avondale Argent 2007 4 berth. We had a trip away to try it out and loved. it.
Hope that you enjoy your caravanning as much as we do. Best wishes and Happy Caravanning.
