Can anyone suggest any towing mirrors that will fit a 2014 BMW X5?

I currently have the type with the two top brackets with the two rubber straps that go round the mirror and clip on the bottom of the mirror
housing, these fitted my previous car and were excellent with no vibration,
unfortunately the top of the mirror slopes on the BMW wing mirror and they wont fit.

Thanks

BMW do towing mirrors here albeit at great cost. The popular Milenco clamp on mirrors are much cheaper & should fit. I'd go to a caravan shop & ask if you can check for fitting before purchase.

Dave, I'm sure Milenco Grand Aero mirrors will do the job nicely.

Thanks all, I will try the Milenvo Grand Aero first, the BMW mirrors
seem very expensive for towing mirrors .

Do what we do and fix the milenco mirrors to the bottom edge of the mirrors. This works on our x5 although it is the e70 version.

You don't get any vibration from the Milenco Grand Aero mirrors providing that they are set up correctly, ie. the two fixing brackets are furthest apart that can be achieved.

I don't know the specifics of you car but on my VW Golf I put a stainless steel screw into the mirror housing so the strap for the towing mirror does not slip. It works well.

-------------
We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.

Dave I have the cheapo ones The type with the castellated rubber straps had them for years and have fitted all my towcars over the years.
You mention vibration but surely if the mirrors show a vehicle coming up behind you they are ok. You dont need to read the numberplate.
