Just wondering if the Electrolux 3 way fridges made a noise like a house fridge when on mains? Plugged the van I'm for the first time just now. Flicked the switch to mains and its quiet. Too soon to know if its working yet. Hoping so though!

No, there are no moving parts so all you will hear is occasional gurgle, most caravan fridges are absorbtion, not compressor type. After it has been on for a couple of hours feel the pipes in ice making compartment, should feel quite cold.
