Hi, what would you expect to pay for the above van. It is in reasonable condition, considering the year.
As a 1st timer-upgrading from a tent, we would go armed with a damp meter etc but can't seem to find any where that will give us an idea of what we should pay.
------------- 2015 7 weeks booked! Roll on Easter to start.
Have no idea what you might expect to pay for one now, but wanted to add that we have one. We bought ours 7 years ago and paid £3300 for it. We had it serviced, bought 2 new tyres, cleaned it thoroughly inside and out, replaced the carpet and washed all the curtains etc. Then we took it to France, where it has remained ever since. Good luck - our van has given us many happy family holidays.
A 1998 'van can vary hugely in price, as it can vary hugely in condition from first class to almost ready for the breakers. Really you cannot sensibly price a 'van of this age, you just have to go on condition. The best way is to search out the 'van & similar ones on ebay to get a cross section of prices.
