The cost would be excessive for little extra benefit, when did you last have a puncture? Also the vanes would fill with debris & mud, unbalancing wheel.

apart from being puncture proof i cant see many road going plus points over the old fashioned blow up tyres..

low speed military and off road use yes but thats about all..

Wouldn't the debris be thrown out with the spinning of the wheels??

I would think all sorts of debris could get caught up in them causing imbalance & then flying out causing a hazard. Not such a problem with site vehicles but not so good for fast road. They look fairly horrible as well which must be a consideration. If looks didn't matter there would be no small SUV's.
