We bought one last year, and are very pleased with it.
It has been good in high winds and torrential rain, and unlike our friends who have Kampa and Sunncamp air awnings it has not leaked on the seams.
I'm also thinking of buying a Vango Air awning Varkala 420.
I believe they come with a draft skirt and wheel arch draft skirt.
My question is, is the wheel arch draft skirt big enough to cover a twin axel wheel arch or is it just for a single wheel arch? I have a Swift Conqueror 645
Also, how many suction cups are supplied and are they the snap hook ones?
We bought a 2014 varkala and it wasn't watertight, poured in through seams.Sent back and full refund, hummed and haad, looked a lot on here, but we liked the varkala best. Bought a 2015 model more money, but it's solid, stood in high winds, rain ,a lot, sunshine and cold. It's fine. It's Windows are clear, and the curtains close from the bottom giving privacy. Plenty of mesh so air can circulate. Easy to put up. Valves are at a good height. We like it, and have used it about six times already.
We've just bought a Varkala 420 due to the fact we like Vango after having a Vango tent which was brilliant in storms. We haven't tried the awning yet but will be trying it at Easter in the lakes so no doubt it will be tried in all weathers!
