We replaced a wall in our van. Cost us £123. Yes it is a lot of work but not difficult. We bought stuff from all over the place.
Sikaflex from Go Outdoors
PU sealant from ebay
Wallboard and awning rail trim.from O'Leary's Motorhomes via the internet. They do lots of bits, so if you are buying board from them, the postage is quite a lot, so it might save you to get stuff from them.
Wood and wood rot treatment from B&Q.
Don't know if I would buy with damp knowingly though.
Good luck.
Have you checked out the Fix it club above in the stickies and also Wizard's caravan repair site?
