I hope this is ok to ask, I've spotted thiscaravan and its perfect for our needs, but have no idea on how the price compares and from the googling I've done, there don't seem to be many around to compare a price with.
If you look through ebay £6-7k is average price for most makes of similar size 2006 caravans so on the basis of that its probably a realistic price. If you have nothing to trade in then obviously try to negotiate a lower price, offer £6k perhaps? They probably won't let it go for that at this time of yr but if you want the caravan then be prepared to pay anything up to the asking price.
If caravan has no extras like ehu lead, wheel clamp & awning etc then worth trying to get them thrown in within price as £500 of extras at retail price will only be costing dealer half that.

Thanks, we're new to caravanning (upgrading from tent) so would hope to negotiate for the water, waste, battery etc we've got an EHU lead.
Going to view it tomorrow, but I've already decided I want it, lol
What ever you do, don't let them know that you have decided on it otherwisee you will get nought from them. Play hard ball with them and pretend to be undecided as you have seen another similar caravan elsewhere.
Lovely. As you will see from my profile I have an adria. I love it and would say they are generally considered to be very well built.
I agree with whoever said the price is right for a van of that age, however I would add that Adria's are usually cheaper than the English equivalent although they are becoming more popular. With that in mind definately haggle especially as you have no trade in.

Will do, there is actually another for sale privately which has a lot of the necessary equipment( price is £6750), there is someone viewing it today and the seller is going to email me asap to let me know if its still available, so can definitely use that to haggle.
