Hello everyone! Sorry I'm not a familiar sight around here, I tend to trawl for random info and as I'm a newbie I don't have much knowledge to share (unless it's about buying or selling cars & vans, I know a lot about that!) but today....: after months of hmmmm and errrrrrr as it dawned that our trusty little 2 berth elddis that we bought to test the waters was quite simply to small for us.....I went out an bought a new to us caravan better suited to our needs as a young family and the layout is just perfect for us..... It's one of these....
An Adria Adiva 542 PK import!
Awesome layout of fixed bunks for the kids and a fixed double bed with door at the front for us! The kitchen and table space are spot on as well as we always tend to use the awning as a 'lounge' more that the van itself. So gone are the days of folding out the bed for our Charlie & the chocolate factory style sleeping arrangements and hello make em up before we go an job done!
Due to collect it 4th April, straight to Wellington country park for a trial, then a 4 nighter at Hayling Island the weekend after. I think that will pretty much be our weekends and school holidays for the foreseeable future.
Can't bloomin wait, but in the meantime I've got to sell our hurricane of awesome.
So. Who's got suggestions for any sites for weekenders within an hour or two of reading?
Thanks all! Look forward to contributing more in the future
Make sure you let the campsites know it's an import so the door is on the other side. You may have to site the van the other way around to get the awning on the correct side for fire regulations. A few sites can be fussy other this.

Is that from Venture ?
Never ever had a problem with this in the 5 years we had a caravan with the door on the other side. Never bothered telling the campsite either.
Thanks guys, yeah I thought the door siding might be a thing for some sites, but yeah, not to much of a hardship if they do insist on me spinning it.
And yes, purchased from those lovely people at Venture, will be spending most of this evening booking trips, including an epic venture all the way to the continent!
