Has anyone experienced the small fuse blowing on the ALDE 3010 boiler,i have to change it every time I hook up and go away or come back.it has been mentioned that the motor mover may cause this to happen.
Hope not , have just changed the van and have the Alde system fitted and have had AWD movers fitted. Have not yet had chance to take the van away to try everything out.
What type of fuses does the Alde system take?
The fuse is 3.15amp glass fast blow fitted in my Bailey Valencia 2011,i have sent email to ALDE uk and asked whether a stronger fuse can be used or what they recommend.waiting for reply.i have Power Touch mover fitted.
Reply from ALDE is. From your description the negative 12V wiring in your vehicle is shorting to the chassis, which will result in the F3 fuse blowing when some appliances are activated. We recommend using a 20mm glass fuse,3.15 amp but T-type(time delay/slow blow). These are more robust than F-type fuses.
