I have only just been looking at some foam interlocking ones this afternoon which should be fine ,it would be the rigid plastic ones that would probably crack if uneven.

aldi are selling the foam ones at the mo, but if you are doing an awning its much cheaper to get them from ebay, 96 square feet is £36 you can even get it where its looking like laminate flooring!

WE have just this weekend done our awning floor in the tiles from Aldi and it is looking very smart. We have a Dorema size 12 awning and it took 40 tiles, ( 7 packs with 2 spare tiles). Very easy to put down and nice a soft under foot.
