Connected to the mains electricity or running it on gas?
12v battery fully charged? Have you primes the water system before switching the heater on? Make sure water comes from all the taps before trying to power the heater.
I made that mistake years ago, Luckily my heater has a reset switch, I think others may need a fuse soldering in?
