What do you want a 12V lead for,are you sure it isn't a 230V lead?

Go to a caravan shop & ask for a 25mtre long mains hookup lead. This. Bloke you bought it off knows nothing about caravans. You have to hope the mains electrics in the caravan have been checked & are safe to use. Has the caravan been serviced?

If you are going to tow it any distance you need to know its been serviced & also that the tyres are ok. If you have no idea of tyre age they could be yrs old & be perished so should be changed. Its not difficult keeping an old caravan on the road but brakes & wheels bearings need to be serviced, wheelnuts checked for tightness, tyres pressures ok & so on.
