Yes l have one of the Vango chairs and it is very good and comfortable. They do two options, one with fabric armrests with a cup holder, and one with ridgid metal and plastic arms, mine is the latter, as l need something sturdy to push down onto as l rise from my seat. One of them is called the Kracken, but l too have forgotten which one the firmed arm version is.
I paid about £34 for mine last year after quite a few expensive disasterous mistakes in trying to find the right chair to suit my needs. The Vango chairs are also slightly padded, and have no hard metal front bar to dig into the backs of your knees, whilst giving a back height deep enough to support your shoulders, if your around average height (5ft 5ins) like me!

Celebrating 37 years of Caravanning in 2019, Recently Considered Retiring, but Totally Addicted for Life!
Being one of life's fat bottomed gals I had the same problems. The standard lightweight fold up thingys either felt insecure or attached themselves to me when I got up.
Did a search on t'interweb and found Royale did some directors style chairs up to weight of 20st. The caravan dealer in the village didn't stock them and had to order a box of 4 I think it was. As I wanted 2 chairs he agreed to do so, suspecting that with 4 caravan parks surrounding him at least someone else would buy them!

Thank you these sound very good . My OH gets through so many chairs and my son ( camper ) is heavy because he does weights . So both need strong seats .
Me I sit on anything , but I will check all these out plus the lounger .
Thank you again.
My neighbour has said he bought a lounger from qvc and is pleased he is large and heavy but that's a lounger . We need to sit to eat as well.
I recently posted a thread on the same subject. A few recommended the Aldi chair and they were on sale at the time so I bought two. Brilliant chairs. My friends are tall as well as large(r) and say they are very comfy and not too low. I may buy another couple next year just for the sake of having them.
