Afternoon all, a bit of advice needed please.

I just bought the above awning last week and want to buy the storm straps, with two choices available.

This at £12.99 which seems to have a rubber piece between the strap and peg or this for £12.59 which has springs between the strap and peg.

Does anyone have either the Kampa or the universal one who can tell me what they think?

Cheers

We have the actual Kampa storm straps (your first link) for our Kampa 200. Work fine. Do the job of keeping the awning rock steady in a good wind. I saw both sets and decided on the actual Kampas as the are designed for the Kampa Rally range and I knew the buckles would fit without interchanging. The monsoon poles are a good buy as well as they give the roof more stability and prevent puddling

We have a Rally Pro 260 and have the proper Kampa ones as most of the universal kits do not have the correct buckle. We also have the monsoon poles and they are well worth having. Our awning has stood up to some nasty weather and doubt if it would have been standing without the extra poles and straps to keep it in shape.

Thanks both, yep I bought the monsoon poles and carpet, looking to buy the storm straps now as well as the rear poles (I got the feeling when we were putting it up last week that it would be easier with the rear poles than without).

Thanks again both, the Kampa ones will be purchased.

I forgot about the rear poles! They help with getting a good seal against the caravan and keeping the wind out, we also have the hanging rail but I don't think that fits the Rally 260 version.
